It has been nearly a year since Aaron Jeansonne’s maiden MX-5 Cup victory at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

BSI Racing surged in the points over the weekend with a multi-podium showing at the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, presented by Michelin’s return to Sebring International Raceway.

BSI Racing to bring nine drivers to Daytona for the 2024 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup. Shea Holbrook and Nick Chorley will begin their campaigns as owners of an MX-5 Cup team that is bolstered with experience, talent, and familiarity.

2022 Mazda MX-5 Cup runner-up and eight-time MX-5 Cup race winner Connor Zilisch returns to the series with BSI Racing. Zilisch's participation adds a third Mazda scholarship recipient to the team, having won the Mazda Shootout in 2021.

2023 Mazda Shootout Scholarship Recipient Westin Workman joins BSI Racing for the 2024 Whelen Mazda MX-Cup season. Workman is the 16th winner of the $110,000 scholarship, awarded to the top finisher at the shootout. A Spec MX-5 veteran, Workman comes to BSI having been on Mazda's radar since 2020.
