AAG Racing announced today that Arlington, Va., native and four-time karting champion in Mexico, Fernando Luque Jr., will pilot the team’s No. 25 entry for Rounds 1 and 2 of the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin at Daytona International Speedway (DIS), Jan. 21–23 during the famous Rolex 24 event.

AAG Racing announced today that Chuck Mactutus and primary partner The Salty Dog Cafe will join the team’s driver lineup for Rounds 1 and 2 of the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin at Daytona International Speedway (DIS), Jan. 21–23 during the famous Rolex 24 event.

JTR Motorsports has added Peter Atwater to their team for the 2026 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup season. Driving the #26 JTR Motorsports entry, Atwater will join a strong JTR driver lineup as he and the team prepare for another highly competitive year in North America’s premier spec sports car championship.
