BSI Racing announces the addition of NASCAR’s Xfinity Series driver, Jesse Love, to its Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by Michelin lineup for Rounds Seven & Eight at Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course, June 6-8.

Love has 13 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity series this season with two pole positions, eight top-tens, three top-fives, and one win for 2025. He joins BSI Racing as they lead the team championship points standings.

Love will pilot the No. 2 Whelen Engineering “Everyday Champion” livery, celebrating local heroes who work tirelessly to make their communities better and safer places to live.

Since 1952, Whelen Engineering has been trusted to protect first responders. Driven by its mission, Whelen provides high-quality, reliable products and technology designed to aid first responders in their critical missions.

From warning lights to white illumination, sirens, controllers, and software, every product that bears the Whelen name is thoughtfully designed, manufactured, and tested in America to perform at the highest level in any condition.

As a trusted leader in the emergency warning industry, Whelen carries this responsibility earnestly, striving to ensure that the everyday heroes operating under the illumination and protection of Whelen products are equipped to do their jobs with enhanced efficiency, reliability, and safety.

That same commitment to service is reflected in the ongoing search for the next Whelen Everyday Champion. Past honorees have shown remarkable courage, dedication, and a selfless commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, inspiring those around them to do the same.

“I’m thrilled to be representing Whelen’s Everyday Champion initiative with BSI Racing in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Presented by Michelin,” said Love.

“It’s a privilege to celebrate those that make our country the greatest on earth, and I’m so excited to do so at Mid-Ohio this June. This is an exciting challenge. BSI and MX-5 Cup are known for some of the best racing out there, and I can’t wait to go out and give it my best. Thank you to BSI Racing, Mazda Motorsports and Whelen Engineering for this opportunity.”

Love will accompany Tyler Gonzalez who sits second in the individual points championship, as well as Westin Workman, Helio Meza, Christian Hodneland, Damon Ockey and Farhan Siddiqi.

“We’re thrilled to have Jesse with us at BSI Racing for Mid-Ohio,” said team owner Shea Holbrook.

“Jesse is becoming a household name in the NASCAR world, so it’s always a treat when one of these guys comes over and runs with us. Jesse will bolster our driver lineup in a big way. I’m confident he’ll fit right in and give us a boost as we continue to push for a driver and team championship this season.”

Nominations for the 2025 Everyday Champions program are open from May 1 through August 15, with the selected honoree to be recognized at a special ceremony at the NASCAR Hall of Fame and inducted into the Whelen Hall of Champions in November of 2025.
