The penultimate race weekend in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin is upon us. With just four races to go in the single-make series, the stakes for BSI Racing could not be higher as the team takes on Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia.

AAG Racing announced today that Alejandro Gutierrez and primary partner Voltedge will join the team’s driver lineup for Rounds 11 and 12 of the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), Aug. 22–24. The 22-year-old driver will make his series debut.

Advanced Autosport heads into the penultimate race at VIRginia International Raceway not only with championship-leading driver Nathan Nicholson building momentum, but also with a returning driver eager to make his mark on the MX5 Cup series.

AAG Racing announced today that Skyler Cottrell will reunite with the organization for the final two events of the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup regular season. Cottrell will pilot the No. 76 AAG Racing entry at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), Aug. 22-24, and at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for the regular season finale at his home track Oct. 8-11.

AAG Racing announced today that Rocco Pasquarella and primary partner The Chicane Club will join the team’s driver lineup for the remainder of the 2025 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin season.
