Aidan Fassnacht and the No. 15 Sword Performance Mazda MX-5 Cup team look to lockdown a pair of solid race results this weekend in Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2022 IMSA Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich® Tires on the streets of St. Petersburg.

It’s the second month of the year and the second event weekend in the 2022 Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by BFGoodrich® Tires. With the first two wheel-to-wheel races at the high banks of the Daytona International Speedway, rounds three and four will take place this coming weekend on the Streets of St. Petersburg alongside the NTT INDYCAR Series.

Joining Copeland Motorsports late in the 2021 season and taking part in an extensive test program, Max Opalski is now set to take on his first ever street race in the Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by BFGoodrich® Tires. Racing at the Daytona International Speedway for the first two wheel-to-wheel races of 2022, Opalski will now take on the barrier lined circuit at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg as he completes alongside the NTT INDYCAR Series.
