Maverick, a newly formed race team in the Battery Tender® Global MX-5 Cup Presented by BF Goodrich Tires®, is set for 2020 with a pair of entries.

The entry list for the first round of the Ricmotech iRacing Global Mazda MX-5 Cup includes a veritable who’s who of Global Mazda MX-5 Cup racing.

The Battery Tender® Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires® has partnered with Ricmotech for a five round iRacing series. A healthy $8,000 in race purse and championship prize money will be up for grabs.

Following the recent cancellation of the IndyCar events at Barber Motorsports Park and Circuit of The Americas, there have been ongoing discussions between Mazda Motorsports, Andersen Promotions and IndyCar about postponing the first two rounds of the Global MX-5 Cup.

White Racing / Conquest Motorsports is expanding its 2020 Battery Tender® Global Mazda MX-5 Cup driver roster with the additions of Robert Stout and Matthew Dirks.
