January 5, 2026 – JTR Motorsports is pleased to announce that 18-year-old Justin Gravett is now confirmed for their 2026 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup campaign. With the season opening later this month at Daytona International Speedway, Gravett will drive the #8 Tunnel to Towers entry and will also receive support from additional partnership programs.
Gravett will once again compete under the JTR Motorsports banner as he continues his progression in one of North America’s most competitive championships. The 2026 season marks an important milestone for the young driver as he looks to build on prior experience, aiming for race wins, podium results, but most importantly, raising money for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
“I’m incredibly excited to start the 2026 MX-5 Cup season, especially kicking things off at Daytona,” expressed Justin Gravett. “Continuing my career at this level is something I’ve looked forward to for a long time. Having the opportunity to represent the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is truly meaningful, and I’m proud to carry their mission with me throughout the season. I’m focused, motivated, and ready to get to work with JTR Motorsports.”
“Justin has shown tremendous growth both on and off the track, and we’re excited to continue working with him in 2026,” added JTR Motorsports’ Dave Thomas. “He brings maturity, determination, and a strong work ethic to our program, and pairing that with an organization like Tunnel to Towers makes this season even more special. We’re looking forward to a competitive year ahead.”
At Daytona and throughout the 2026 season, Gravett will proudly represent the Tunnel to Towers Foundation as his primary partner. Tunnel to Towers - www.t2t.org - is a nonprofit organization founded by the Siller family in honor of their brother, firefighter Stephen Siller, who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. The foundation carries out its mission to “do good” by supporting Gold Star families and fallen first responder families with young children, and catastrophically injured veterans by providing mortgage-free homes and specially adapted smart homes. The Foundation is also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001.
In addition to Tunnel to Towers, Gravett’s 2026 racing program is supported by a strong group of partners, including:
