DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 15, 2026) – Hendricks Motorsports will kick off the 2026 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin season with two powerhouse drivers at Daytona International Raceway. The team will field Noah Harmon in the No. 12 Cube 3 Architecture and Westin Workman in the No. 21 with Stor-It Self Storage/Cavo's Bar + Kitchen and Hawkeye Brothers Graphics for Rounds One and Two of the championship.
Harmon was the 2024 Mazda MX-5 Cup Shootout Champion and made a big impression in his 2025 rookie season. The Florida native earned two podium finishes in the highly competitive field. His best finish came in the last race of the 2025 season when he finished second at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Now, Harmon comes to Hendricks Motorsports ready to go one step further, to his first MX-5 Cup win.
“Really excited to join the team for Daytona and have Cube 3 Architecture with us on the car. The Daytona MX5 cup race has been one I’ve watched since I started racing and am excited to get another shot at going for the win!” - Noah Harmon
Workman is also a former MX-5 Cup Shootout Champion and the 2024 MX-5 Cup Rookie of the Year. In two seasons of MX-5 Cup racing, Workman earned seven podiums and two wins, his first being the viral photo-finish at Sebring International Raceway in 2024, when he crossed the finish line 0.004 seconds ahead of Connor Zilisch.
Workman's prior trips to Daytona have been disappointing, so he is extra-motivated to get his first Daytona win.
“I’m thrilled to join Hendricks Motorsports for the first event of Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup in Daytona. I’ve known this group since before they came into the series. Their experience, work ethic, and professionalism are qualities that I admire. Together, I am confident we can compete for some hardware.” - Westin Workman
Now in its second full-season of MX-5 Cup competition, Hendricks Motorsports is excited to have two proven drivers at the helm for Daytona, a race that requires serious speed and serious strategy.
"We’re stoked to have Noah and Westin on board for Daytona! With our focus on achieving the best results, once Noah was confirmed it was a no-brainer to secure a second high-caliber driver. The strong chemistry as previous teammates and the professional culture we’ve built make this a potent lineup. Reuniting myself, our engineer Erik, and Westin makes it especially meaningful to welcome him to the team." - Kimberlee Hendricks
Harmon and Workman will have two opportunities to earn the coveted Daytona race victory: Race 1 on Thursday, January 22 at 5:15pm ET and Friday, January 23 at 10:00am ET. Both races are streamed live on the IMSA and RACER YouTube channels.
