June 2, 2026 — JTR Motorsports Engineering is set to make a significant statement at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course when the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by BF Goodrich rolls into action June 5–7. The team will field a formidable ten-driver lineup for one of the most competitive rounds on the calendar, marking one of the largest single-event deployments in the team's history.

Leading the charge is Jared Thomas, who enters the Mid-Ohio weekend sitting second in the championship point standings — just 20 points behind the series leader and well within striking distance with the season unfolding. Thomas will look to capitalize on the technical Mid-Ohio circuit to close the gap and make a move toward the top of the standings.

Joining Thomas in the hunt for points are Gresham Wagner, currently fifth in the championship, and John Salerno, who holds tenth — putting a trio of JTR Motorsports Engineering drivers firmly inside the top-ten in the standings. The team's depth across the timing sheets speaks to the program's consistent development and preparation.

Rounding out the full ten-car effort are Tunnel to Towers sponsored Justin Gravett, Woody Heiman, Glenn McGee, Jameson Riley, Chris Hutter, and Peter Atwater, each bringing their own momentum and experience to the renowned Ohio road course.

Of particular note is the addition of Michael O'Dell, who joins the JTR Motorsports Engineering family as a team newcomer ahead of the Mid-Ohio event. O'Dell will look to make a strong first impression in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, backed by the full resources and experience of the JTR organization.
