SCCA Names Cechal to PR Post
Aug. 2, 2006 - Topeka, KS - Sports Car Club of America, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Erin Cechal to the position of public relations specialist.

Cechal comes to SCCA following four seasons with Road America,
in Elkhart Lake, Wis.,
where she served as assistant to the media director and most recently as
motorsports programs coordinator.
"I'm thrilled SCCA has invited me to be a part of their
family,” said Cechal. “As a lifelong motorsports lover, writing about the wide
variety of racing SCCA has to offer is an amazing opportunity and I"m looking
forward to the challenges it provides.”
Cechal will work on feature articles, press releases and media
materials, and assist in public relations efforts for such SCCA Pro Racing series
as SPEED World Challenge® Championships, SIRIUS Satellite Radio Mazda
MX-5 Cup Presented by Hankook as well as SCCA’s Club Racing, Rally and Solo
programs.

our staff,” SCCA Director of Marketing Communications Eric Prill said. “For
being a recent college graduate, she already has a tremendous racing
background, and her professional skills make her a perfect fit for the
position.”
A graduate of the University
of Wisconsin, Cechal earned a Journalism
BA in 2006 with an emphasis in strategic communication and has been racing
